Themes for Anima

"Anima is my favorite of Myth for a couple of reasons.

1. We got the Prince out of the way, so Myth gets to explore.
2. It introduces my favorite pair of characters, Thane "Prince Brat" Prowl and Rin "Bodyguard" Koga.
3. It's centered around Miles, instead of Shadow (Razel) and Shade (Aurelia)

So a lot of the songs revolve around Miles's personality. The rest show the cocky side of Myth's attitude after they're heroes, defeating the Prince and finding Bridget.

"Dance, Dance" by Fall Out Boy (an old theme for Myth)

Dance, Dance
We're falling apart to half time
Dance, Dance
And these are the lives you'd love to lead

Dance, this is the way they'd love
If they knew how misery loved me

"Out of Control" by Hoobastank (for Thane)

Where should I go?
What should I do?
I don't understand what you want from me
Cause I don't knowIf I can trust you
I don't understand what you want from me

"Bleed it Out" by Linkin Park (old theme for Myth)

Yeah here we go for the hundredth time
Hand grenade pins in every line
Throw 'em up and let something shine
Going out of my f***ing mind

"Ppr:Kut (reanimation)" by Linkin Park (the original Papercut is Miles's theme)

Now it feels like my back’s against the wall
I’m taking the fall
Whenever I call nobody’s responding at all
But I don’t know who I can trust

The screaming my name
I need somebody to help me out of the frame

"Krwlng (reanimation)" by Linkin Park (for Miles)

Discomfort endlessly has pulled itself upon me
Distracting, reacting
Against my will, I stand beside my own reflection
It’s haunting
How I can’t seem
To find myself again
My walls are closing in

"Everything is Alright" by Motion City Soundtrack (for everyone else in Myth, basically)

Tell me that you're alright, (Hi, everything's great)
Yeah everything is alright. (Everything's fine)
Oh please tell me that you're alright, (Hi, everything's great)
Yeah everything is alright.

"Emergency" by Paramore (for Miles)

I've seen you cry
Way too many times
When you deserve to be alive, alive

"Fences" by Paramore (for Thane, I think. I forget)

And it's obvious that you're dying, dying
Just living proof that the camera's lying
And oh oh open wide, 'cause this is your night

So smile, 'cause you'll go out in style

"Second to None" by Styles of Beyond

It's the real authentic
Leave ya'll dented
Forget what ya heard If I said it, I meant it
Did it for real
While ya'll pretended
Back for more
Startin' the war to end it

"One X" by Three Days Grace

We are the ones
We get knocked down
We get back up and stand above the crowd
We are one
We are the ones
We get knocked down
We get back up and stand above the crowd
We are one

"Scared" by Three Days Grace (for Miles)

So real these voices in my head
When it comes back you won’t be
Scared and lonely
You won’t be scared, you won’t be
You won’t be scared and lonely
You won’t be scared you won’t be lonely
